While on and if needed a slight press of the button will deactivate your light for momentary-off applications. A full push of the button will turn you light back off. In critical situations immediate and powerful lighting is essential for maximum visibility and information gathering necessitating the need for a constant-on application. This approach has enabled the creation of a smaller more efficient remote switch with a lower-profile design optimizing space and allowing for better ergonomics.
